Barbara Perkins (Hunnefeld) age 77 of Canton passed away June 11th at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. Born and raised in Boston, she attended Boston Schools and has lived in Canton since 1971. She worked as a secretary for the Canton Public Works Department for several years before retiring in 1990. Barbara enjoyed boating, going to the beach, gardening, working in her yard and on her fish pond. Devoted mother of Donald Perkins III of Canton and Mary Ellen Perkins of Quincy. Sister of Joseph Hunnefeld of Hingham. Companion of Paul D’Amico of Canton. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday, July 1st at 11:00 am. Visiting hour prior to the service on Friday from 10 to 11 am.
