Anna M. (King) Phipps, 72, of Anderson died at her residence June 23, 2016 after an extended illness.
She was born, May 23, 1944 in Livingston, TN to Hollis and Sallie (Kates) King.
Anna was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her kids, being outdoors and taking care of her husband.
Anna is survived by her husband, Beacher Phipps of Anderson, whom she married October 17, 1960 in Maysville, Kentucky; four children, Rodney (Cindy Gwin) Phipps, Rhonda (James Jones) Phipps; Tim (Kris) Phipps and Jacob (Tiffany Jent) Phipps; her siblings, Wanda (Bob) Cabral, Rosie (Raymond) Cuzzart; Mike (Rita) King; Lisa Gary and Danny (Pam) King; 13 grandchildren, Tabbitha, Ashley, Justin, Brandon, Isaiah, Savannah, Kyle, Brach, Matthew, Victoria, Olivia, Jeremiah and Bentley; six great-grandchildren; Angel, Mackenzie, Maci, Charity, Skylar, and Eli; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Clara Dewey and brother Buddy King.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Loyce Webb officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
