Wanda “June” McBrayer, 61, of Tifton passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church in Tifton with the Rev. Junior Morgan and the Rev. Tony Walker officiating. Miss McBrayer will be laid to rest at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. John Sewell officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 25, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Miss McBrayer will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Earl Giddens, Steve Ruis, Andy Douglas, Joey Garrick, Jason McBrayer and Dustin Taylor will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Pineview Holiness Baptist Church, Mark Gill and Dr. James Graham.
Born October 28, 1954 in Tift County, Miss McBrayer was the daughter of Eliese Holbrook McBrayer of Tifton and the late James “Buford” McBrayer. She attended Pineview Holiness Baptist Church in Tifton.
In addition to her mother, Miss McBrayer is survived by two brothers, Larry McBrayer and Randall McBrayer, both of Tifton; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty Sue McBrayer and Patricia and Joey Garrick, all of Tifton.
