Barbara Sue Green McLendon, 62, of Tifton passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Salem Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Marion Green will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 25, 2016, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals
Born March 7, 1954 in Tifton, Mrs. McLendon was the daughter of the late William Henry Green and Eloyce Byrd Green. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Timothy W. McLendon. She was retired and co-owned Tim’s Plumbing Company in St. Augustine, Florida for 25 years with her husband.
Mrs. McLendon is survived by two sons, James Belcher, III and Robert McLendon, both of St. Augustine, Florida; four brothers, Glen Green, Marion Green and Max Green, all of Tifton and Rodney Green of Marco Island, Florida; three sisters, Linda Stinchcomb and Martine Hill, both of Tifton and Diane Reade of Ty Ty; and one granddaughter, Cynthia Belcher.
