New Bedford – Paul Mauro, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in Tewksbury, Ma, he was the son of the late Carlos M. and Rosalie (Mauro) Figueroa.
He was survived by 5 sisters: Rose M. Figueroa, Maria I. Matos, Martha Figueroa and Eva Vazquez, all of New Bedford and Georgina Mascis of Haverhill, MA; 5 brothers: Carlos Figueroa, of New Bedford, Pablo Figueroa of Orlando, Fla, Joel Figueroa of New Bedford, David Figueroa of Puerto Rico, Isaac Matos of Marlboro, MA and Moses Matos of Pennsylvania; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a God-mother.
His funeral will be Monday beginning in the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. with a service to begin at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
