FALL RIVER - Manuel M. Simbro, 88, of 2000 Bay St., Fall River, died Friday at home. He was the husband of Juliette (Cabral) Simbro of 63 years. They would have celebrated their 64th Anniversary in November.
Born in Fall River, MA the son of the late Antone Simbro and the late Saltina (Cabral) Simbro. He was a life long resident of Fall River. Before retiring, he was a Machine Operator at River Edge Printers for 32 years. He was a member of the former St. Patrick Church, now Good Shepherd Parish. Besides his wife of Fall River, he is survived by One Son: Robert John Simbro & his wife Sarah J. Simbro of Somerset, Two Grandchildren: Kathleen and her husband John Ventura, and Scott and his wife Kristy Simbro, Four Great-grandchildren: Ashley and Andrew Ventura and Nicholas and Abigail Simbro, Three Brothers: Thomas Simbro of Fall River, John Simbro of Somerset, Robert Moore of Fall River, Two Sisters: Sally Borges of Fall River & Laura Rogers of Fall River, and Several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Joseph Simbro and Eva Moore
His funeral, following Cremation, will take place on Friday, July 22nd at 9:00 A.M. in Good Shepherd Parish, So. Main St., Fall River, MA. Arrangements are by the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA. Internment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
