Died peacefully on June 17, 2016, with his family by his side in White Bear Lake, MN.
Jerry was born May 31, 1933, in White Bear Lake. Jerry lived a full and active life. He was a proud member of the US Army from 1953-1955. Jerry was a milkman for his entire working career starting in 1957. He enjoyed being a part of the lives of his customers spanning five decades. Jerry was a champion bowler earning many awards including bowling perfect games, achieving high series, appearing regularly on national TV, and being inducted in the Hall of Fame by the St. Paul Bowling Association.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife Karen; his three children Doug (Margie), Kathy (John) Gustin, Dennis (Sandra "Madison"); eight grandchildren, Amber, Crystal, Danielle, Ben, Justin, Sammi, Lillian, and Buchanan; five great grandchildren, Riley, Lincoln, Owen, Knox, and Kennedy; extended family, Sarha and Dave Smith and family, along with many nieces and nephews, and his brother Don (Ducky) Smith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, June 21 at the CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 Margaret Street North, North St. Paul, MN, with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, White Bear Lake, MN.
