Obituary

CHICOPEE – Thomas M. “Tom” Pasko, 55, of the Ferry Lane section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, June 16, 2016. He passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Springfield on May 26, 1961, the beloved son of the late Fred J. and Mary (Rodrigues) Pasko. He was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee High School and had lived in Chicopee most of his life. Tom was employed for many years as a Campus Police Officer at Springfield Technical Community College and retired in 2015. During his leisure time, Tom was an avid reader who enjoyed reading mystery and suspense novels in paperback. In addition, he also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Canada. Besides his beloved parents, he was also predeceased by his loving father-in-law, Mario F. Siano who was Called Home on August 30, 1983. He leaves his beloved wife and best friend, Karen M. (Siano) Pasko. They were married on October 15, 1994 at Saint Cecilia Church in Wilbraham and were blessed with over 21 years of happiness together. He also leaves his loving mother-in-law, Edith C. Siano of Springfield; his loving sister-in-law, Gail M. Chapdelaine and her husband, Peter, of Springfield; his loving brother-in-law, David D. Siano and his partner, Carmela, of Longmeadow; his four cherished nephews, Brian Chapdelaine and his fiancée, Alyssa, Eric Chapdelaine, Andrew Siano and Steven Siano; his two cherished aunts, Clara Rodrigues and Stephanie Rodrigues, both of Ludlow; his two cherished uncles, Candido Rodrigues of Springfield and August Costa of Ludlow; and many dear cousins, numerous friends and extended members of the Pasko, Siano and Rodrigues families. Sadly, Tom was also predeceased by his beloved dog and companion, his Beagle “Larry Bear” Pasko. His relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107. His burial will be private at the convenience of his family. His family has requested that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Thomas J.
