NORTHAMPTON – Helena M. (Kudelka) Pagacz, 65, a longtime resident of Northampton, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, June 12, 2016. She passed into Eternal Life at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Mikluszowice, Poland on August 13, 1950, a beloved daughter of Sofia (Poloncarz) Kudelka of Mikluszowice, Poland and the late Tadeusz Kudelka. She was raised in Poland and immigrated to Chicago in 1971 where she lived until moving to Northampton in 1972. She was employed for several years at the Good Thyme Deli on Main Street in Northampton and had last worked as a Baker at the Stop & Shop in Northampton. She leaves her two loving daughters, Michelle H. Hadley and her husband, Ernest W. Hadley, Jr. with whom she lived in Northampton and Anne C. Lafleur and her husband, Edward J. “EJ” Lafleur, of South Hadley; her eight cherished grandchildren, Michael, Christian, Andrew, Jayden, Ethan and Chase Hadley and Kami and Sophia Lafleur; her three dear brothers, Zbyszek Kudelka and his wife, Malgorazata, Piotr Kudelka, and Jozef Kudelka and his wife, Zbigniew, all of Poland; her dear niece, Celina Marchand and her husband, John, and their son, Michael; her best friend, Maryanne Sienkiewicz and her children, Charity, Tammy and Daniel; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends and extended members of the Pagacz and Kudelka families. Besides her father, she was also predeceased by her cherished grandson, Adam Scott Hadley who was Called Home on January 4, 2012; and her grandniece, Amy O’Shepa. Her family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Parish of the National Catholic Church, 15 Thayer Street, South Deerfield, MA 01373. Her burial will be private at a later date.
