WORCESTER___Robert Eugene Foley, 50, of 23 Lake St., Pittsfield, formerly of Worcester, died Thursday July 14 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.
He leaves two sons, Brian Foley of Quincy and Kevin Foley of Pittsfield; his parents, Eugene R. “Red” and Evelyn R. (Mayo) Foley of Worcester; four brothers, Richard R. Foley, Thomas J. Foley and John M. Foley all of Worcester and James J. Foley of Holland; a sister, Patricia J. Foley of Dudley; nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was born and raised in Worcester and later lived in Pittsfield for twenty years.
Mr. Foley was a supervisor for Goodwill Industries in Pittsfield. He worked there many years before he retired. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran serving in South Korea during the Vietnam war. He was a graduate of North High School, Worcester and also earned his Associate degree.
The funeral will be held on Monday July 18 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester with a Mass at 10 am in St. Stephens Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be private. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday July 17 from 4 to 7 pm.
