LIMINGTON- Douglas Allen Flint Sr., age 55, of Ossipee Trail, passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2016 in Limington.
He was born in Portland on Feb. 20, 1961, a son of Walter Flint Sr. who resides in West Baldwin and the late Jane (Roy) Flint.
Doug graduated from Bonny Eagle High School and went on to work as a carpenter throughout his life.
He will always be remembered for his building and tinkering projects and the enjoyment he had with snowmobiling years ago; however, it was his love of family- especially his grandchildren that was most important to him.
Doug is predeceased by his beloved wife- Dawn Marie Flint, who passed away on Dec. 27, 2014; his mother; and a brother- Brad.
Doug is survived by his children- Amanda Flint and her boyfriend- Brian Bouffard of Limington and Doug Jr. and his fiance Suzanne Bird of Standish; brothers- Dean Flint of West Baldwin and Walter Flint Jr. and his wife Kelly of Virginia; grandchildren- Alexis, Brian Jr., and Christopher.; and one expected grandson- Hunter
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, from 4 – 6 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton.
