Shirley June (Murphy) Pyle, fondly known as “Boo”, of Walpole, formerly of West Barnstable and Dover, MA, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 at New Pond Village in Walpole, MA just 10 days shy of her 91 birthday. She was the beloved wife of the late Oden Fletcher Pyle for 64 years.
Born on June 13, 1925 in Winchester, MA she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Carrie (Butler) Murphy.
Loving mother of Stephen Pyle of Rowley, Rebecca Crocker of Arlington, Christine Pyle of Antalope, CA, Sarah Bardelli of Hull, Chandler Pyle of Montana, Whitcomb Pyle of Holliston, Prescott Pyle of Needham, and the late Fletcher Davis Pyle.
Cherished grandmother of Bradford, Gregory, Whitney, Ashby, and Mitchell Pyle, Andrew Crocker, and Christopher, Curtis, and Craig Bardelli.
Boo was a lover of tennis, bridge, the Episcopal church choir & alter guild, the Garden Club, chorus, collie dogs & puppies, birding, gardening, and the Paint & Powder Club.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her graveside service to be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Wednesday, June 15 at 11:00AM
