Mary V. (Booth) McNeill, age 93, of Brockton, died unexpectedly, June 10, 2016 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Mary was the loving wife for 66 years of John Joseph McNeill. Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of John J. and Mary F. (Kane) Booth. She was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School where she had been president of her class, and the Brockton Business School. Mary was an active member of the St. Margaret’s Guild and Sodality and Keith School PTA. She enjoyed shopping, Bingo, parties and dancing, and was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan.
Mary is also survived by her children Maureen Viscardi and her husband Anthony; Kathleen Young and her husband William; Rosemary Bryant and her husband David; Jo-Anne Pincolini and her husband Kenneth; Jane Ellen Bowen and her husband Richard and Michael McNeill. She was the grandmother of Jeffrey and Christina Bowen, Nicole Letourneau, Lauren O’Brien, Jacqueline Roman, Kelly, Ryan and Michael Young, Scott and Kevin Viscardi and Chris Kidd; Great Grandmother of Paige Bowen, Carley and Zachary Roman and Nora, Amanda and Brandon Kidd. She was the sister of the late Patricia, Rita and John J. Booth, Jr. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte. 123) Brockton, Wednesday 4-7pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Thursday at 9am for a funeral mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
