Matthew E. "Matt" Coffin, a 4 year resident of Franklin and formerly of Framingham, entered into eternal life suddenly on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at his home in Franklin. He was 27 years old.
Matt was born in Framingham on December 22, 1988, a son of Catherine J. (Connors) Micarone and Edwin L. Coffin Jr. He grew up in Framingham where he was educated in the Framingham school system and graduated from Bridgewater State College. Matt was working as a laborer for New Boston Incorporated for the last 2 years. Matt's passion in life was his interest in car racing, race cars, motorcycles and motocross racing.
Matt is the beloved son of Catherine J. (Connors) Micarone and the late Edwin L. Coffin Jr. He is the devoted brother of Cathijo Micarone and Victor S. Micarone and his wife Leslie A. Micarone. He is the loving uncle to Brian J. Jennings, Michael Chiapperini, Anthony Chiapperini and Joseph Chiapperini. He is also lovingly survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Matt's visiting hours on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 4 to 8 P.M. with his Funeral Service at 7:15 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be private.
