SWANSEA – Carol E. Martin, age 73 of Swansea, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Catholic Memorial Home. She was the loving wife of George Martin for 55 yrs. and the daughter of the late Wilfred & Rita (Gorden) Boulay. Prior to retiring, Carol worked for the former Bradlees Department Store for 30 yrs.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her son George Martin Jr. & her daughter Deborah Lynn Vasconcelos all of Swansea; grandchildren Amanda & Justin Vasconcelos, and Shelby Ennis; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Thomas Boulay.
Her funeral will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday here at 9:00 A.M., followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 A.M. Cremation to follow. There Are No Calling Hours. www.rogersfuneral.com.
