SPENCER-Marie B. (Dube) Gatto, 90, of 36 Valley Street, formerly of 16 Prospect Street died Thursday, July 14th in the home of her daughter. Her husband Frederick W. Gatto died in 1963. She leaves a son; Frederick W. Gatto, Jr. of Spencer, 3 daughters; Helen L. West with whom she lived, Arlene Norsigian and Gloria Faulknier both of Spencer, 3 sisters Helen Magee of Spencer, Rita Gatto of Webster and Florence Allaire of Worcester, 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson, many nephews and nieces. A son; Albert Gatto, 2 brothers; Albert and Ralph Dube and a sister Loretta Norberg predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Albert and Rose (Lavallee) Dube. Mrs. Gatto had worked for many years in the housekeeping department of Worcester City Hospital.
The funeral is Monday, July 18th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Sunday, July 17th from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
