Cora S. Martin, 55, of New Bedford died Saturday June 4, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in Boston, she lived in Dartmouth and New Bedford for most of her life.
She is survived by her son, Michael Silva of New Bedford; her siblings, Francis Martin of Connecticut, Antone R. Ferreira of New Jersey, and Antonette Garcia of New Bedford; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Geneva M. (Gamboa) Silva, and her sister, Marie Lopes.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 11, 2016 at 1 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Her family will receive visitors from 12-1 PM prior to the service. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
