Emily J. (Kehoe) Papay, age 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2016. A longtime Dorchester resident, she had lived in Abington for the past 10 years. Mrs. Papay was a former Boston Police Crossing Guard, a former employee of New Eng. Tel. & Tel. and a former member of St. Mark’s Bowling League. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the beach and playing bingo. Beloved wife of the late Michael N. Papay, she was the devoted mother of Barbara A. Digan and her husband Arthur, Michael N. Papay III, all of Abington, Mary E. Kalil and her husband Thomas, Stephan F. Papay and his wife Elizabeth and Paul E. Papay and his wife Deborah, all of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of Lauren Roy of E. Bridgewater, Nicolas Kalil of Hingham, Hannah & Olivia Papay, both of Weymouth and Jordan Hall of London, England. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass at St. Mark’s Church, 1725 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, Wednesday, June 8th at 10:30 am. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Tuesday, June 7th from 4 to 8 PM. Burial in MA National Cemetery – Bourne, Wednesday at 1:15 PM.
