Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-6pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marguerite’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
Obituary Information
Mrs. Boudro died Saturday evening at the Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Braintree, she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Margaret (Quill) McCarthy. She attended Braintree schools and graduated from Braintree High School, Class of 1926. She was also a graduate of the State Teacher’s College at Bridgewater, Class of 1928. Mrs. Boudro was a retired school teacher who taught in Stoughton, Braintree and the Howard School in Brockton, from which she retired in 1970. After her retirement she and her husband traveled extensively. She spent winters in Largo FL, and summered in the Dennis area of Cape Cod. She had been a resident of Emmanuel House for the past four years. She was devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had been a member of the Plymouth County Retired Teachers, Massachusetts Retired Teachers and National Education Associations. She was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church where she taught CCD. She was also active in St. Margaret’s Sodality and Guild in past years.
She is survived by her daughter in law Joan Boudro-Cormier, of East Falmouth, three grandchildren, Cheryl A. Grannan of Cincinnati Ohio, Stephen R. Boudro of Brockton and Jeffery A. Boudro of Mansfield. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews
She was the wife of the late Russell W. Boudro, mother of the late Richard A. Boudro and sister of the late Irene Leavitt, William F., John R. and James McCarthy.
