Virginia M. “Ginny” Peters, R.N., 73, of Saw Mill Road, Glocester, died Friday, June 3, 2016 at Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the wife of Joseph Peters.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Virgina (Martone) Miletta.
Ginny was a Registered Nurse and had worked at Rhode Island Hospital and later retired from the former Waterman Heights Nursing Home.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons: Michael Peters and his wife, Michele of South Carolina, Sean Peters and his wife, Vikky, of Vermont and David Peters of Florida, her seven grandchildren, a great granddaughter and her sister, Ann Zarrella of Wakefield.
Her funeral service will be held Monday at Noon in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Monday morning 11am-Noon. In lieu of flowers donations in Ginny's memory may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
