Obituary

Christine M. (Harmacinski) Chelstowski, 76, of Salem, NH died Tuesday at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA from complications of leukemia.

She was born in Erving, MA, later moving to Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School in 1946. She was a Salem resident for 48 years. Christine formerly worked as a Legal Secretary for the Troisi Law Office in Salem, NH.

She was a charter member of the Mary Queen of Peace Church and sang in the choir of which she was a founder. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, reading, dining out and loved Polish customs. She was a warm, caring, and loving mother who cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed life and was greatly loved by those who knew her and she will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased by her parents Raymond & Janina (Kozik) Harmacinski.

Paul & his wife Krista Chelstowski of Martinez, CA

Linda & her husband Gregory Hood of Manchester, NH

Brother: Charles & his wife Connie Pydych of Haverford, PA

2 Sisters: Olga & her husband Walter Costello of Lowell, MA
Marcia & her husband Michael O’Connor of Chanhassen, MN

7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren , several nieces & nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH. Cremation will follow. Calling hours will be Friday from 3-5 & 7-9PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
