McNAMARA Catherine F. formerly of Brighton, West Roxbury, and Wayland, passed away on May 29, 2016. Beloved daughter of the late Henry and Christine M. (MacLean) McNamara. Loving sister of Paul McNamara of Melrose, Joseph McNamara of Worcester and the late James V. and Bernard McNamara and Margaret Graceffa-Grasso. Loving niece of the late Attorney James P. and Evelyn C. McNamara. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and numerous friends who loved her like she was family.
She was a graduate of Regis College and Boston State College and a retired professor of Fashion Merchandising and Marketing at Regis College and Framingham State University.
Funeral from the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Monday June 6th at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church, West Roxbury at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday June 5th from 2-6pm.
