Richard N. Morin, 90, of Salem, NH, died Thursday May 26, 2016 in the Salemhaven Nursing Home in Salem, NH. He was born in Bath, ME on May 27, 1925, and had been a resident of Salem for the past year, formerly living in Windham, NH since 2003. He grew up and lived for many years in Medford, MA where he met his wife at a local roller-skating rink. Mr. Morin served in the US Navy during WWII, and was stationed in Boston, MA. He enjoyed going to the race track, playing poker, and loved to "tinker" on projects.
He is survived by two daughters, Colleen Armstrong and her husband William of Derry, and Gail Morin-Vining and her husband Robert of Chester; his grandchildren, Keri, Charlene, Brittany and Chad; as well as ten great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Sally (Torcivia) Morin in 2011.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 31st from 12:00pm – 2:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A committal service will follow in the Cemetery on the Plain, Ministerial Rd., Windham.
