Paul E. Plante, “Apples”65, a lifelong resident of Fruit Hill Avenue in Providence, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (D’Ambra) Plante.
Born in Providence, he was the only child of Ernest W. and Alice (Bedard) Plante. He was a member of St. Thomas Church for his whole life. He was also a Lifetime member of the Greystone Social Club.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children: Alicia Plante of Cumberland, Andrew Plante of Cranston, Paula Plante of Providence and his two adored grandsons: Gionni Plante and Marcelo Alvarez.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the Anderson-Winfield Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. A gathering following mass will take place at a time and location to be announced. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm.
