Lorraine M. Medeiros, age 73, of Fall River, passed away on May 17, 2016 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel G. Medeiros. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Pavao and Mary (Silvia) Perry and step-daughter of Joseph Perry. Prior to retirement she worked as a nurses aid at the Fall River Nursing Home for 10 years. She was a great caregiver and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and best friend.
Lorraine leaves behind her children David Joubert of Fall River, Christine Gagnon of Fall River, Eric Joubert of Fall River and Kathleen Joubert of VA; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and her step-sister Lena Rezendes of Swansea. She was also predeceased by her sister Suzanna Pavao.
Her funeral service will take place at the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday here at 12 P.M. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours on Thursday from 4-7 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
