Paul F. "Red" McLennan, a 30 year resident of Malden and formerly of Somerville, entered into eternal life suddenly on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. He was 56 years old.
Paul was born in Boston on February 23, 1960, a son of Margaret (McLennon) Callahan. He grew up in Somerville where he was educated in the Somerville Public School system. Paul worked several years as a machinist for a local Metal Company. He enjoyed gardening and doing crafts especially making candles. He loved dancing, listening to music and watching the Boston Bruins. He was an advocate for the extra terrestrial and aliens but his fondest memory was his little red wagon.
Paul is the beloved father of Kristopher Nichols and Audrina Hebert. He is the devoted son of Margaret (McLennon) Callahan and the late James W. Callahan. He is the loving brother of Christine, April Marie and the late Michel Callahan and baby Jimmy Callahan. He is the loving uncle to Aaron Callahan Leon. He is also lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Paul's Funeral Mass on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 12 Noon in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
