James V. Mulcahey, Sr., 71, "Pump Man" of Forand Circle, Johnston, died Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William and Anna (McCusker) Mulcahey. He had lived in Jamestown before moving to Johnston.
He was an owner of Mulcahey Well and Pump and most recently worked with his son for Well Works, LLC, in Jamestown .
He is survived by his loving life partner, Annmarie Vellucci, his children: James V. Mulcahey, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Carolina, RI, Melissa Mulcahey and Rick, of Clearwater, FL, Sheri Chandler and her husband, Sean of Glocester, Kara-lee Mulcahey and Michael White of Coventry, his grandchildren: Lindsey, James the 3rd, Shannan, Jacqueline and Patrick Mulcahey, Emma, Finnegan and Elliana Chandler, Aram Hinz, Jr. and Janelle Jarvis, five great grandchildren and his siblings: William Mulcahey of Johnston, Thomas Mulcahey of Smithfield and Jean Nelson of Smithfield. He was the brother of the late Marie Ostiguy, Carol Leveille and Nancy Stepinski
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be private. Visitation Thursday 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers donations to MADD, 2 Regency Plaza #4, Providence, RI 02903
