Daniel L. Fitzgerald, 54 of Medford died Saturday after a long illness in the St. Elizebeth Medical Center Boston, MA.
Born in Ireland, he lived in Medford since 1976 and was the son of the late Nora (Murphy) and Michael Fitzgerald.
Beloved husband of Eleanor (Ellis) Fitzgerald. Devoted father of Daniel L. Fitzgerald Jr. and his wife Karen of New Hampshire, Dawn M. DeSouza and her husband Cleber of Medford. Loving grandfather of Felicia Fitzgerald, Justin and Jamie DeSouza. Brother of John “Sean” Fitzgerald of Woburn.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
