Audrey L. Manning (Hawkins) age 91 of Milton passed away at the Falmouth Hospital May 1st. Born in Brockton, she was raised in Randolph and graduated from Stetson High School Class of 1942. In her early years Audrey worked at the State House where she met her late husband M. Joseph Manning, Sr. Audrey spent many years in the Randolph Hickory Hawks Ski Club and The Cunningham Park Women’s Bowling League of Milton. She was a Parishioner of St. Agatha’s Church in Milton and St. John’s Church in Pocasset. Audrey Enjoyed golfing at Little Harbor in Wareham, attending charity and political events with her late husband, Joe and playing cards with her father and uncles. Her favorite memories include hosting her friends during summer holiday weekends and watching Joey and Tommy playing baseball in her backyard in Pocasset and riding their bicycles around Beacon Point. Beloved wife for 50 years of the late Honorable M. Joseph Manning. Mother of M. Joseph Manning, Jr. and his wife Maureen of Raynham. Devoted nan of Joey and Tommy Manning. Sister of Beverly Gilbert of Rhode Island, Karlene Medeiros-Fitts and her husband Frank of Rockland, Roberta Lynch-Pease of Florida, Neil Hawkins and his wife Lois of Weymouth, Larry Hawkins of Pembroke and the late Jacqueline Horrigan, Virginia Hawbolt. Godmother of Paul Hawkins of New Jersey. Aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Funeral mass at St. Agatha Church Milton Friday afternoon at 12:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Thursday 4-8 pm. Burial Milton Cemetery.
