LEESBURG, Fla. - Emma (Sabourin) Grenon, 91, of Leesburg, formerly of New Bedford, Mass., died Saturday, July 2, 2005, at Lake Harris Medical Center after a brief illness. She was the widow of Eugene W. "Bob" Grenon.
Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Exilda (St. Louis) Saborin. She lived in New Bedford 89 years and moved to Florida with her daughter two years ago.
Mrs. Grenon was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Churh in New Bedford, which later merged with Church of the Holy Name.
Survivors include a daughter, Vivian R. Rawlins of Leesburg; a brother, Normand Sabourin of North Dartmouth, Mass.; a granddaughter and a grandson; and five great-grandsons.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2005, at Holy Name Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, followed by burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery #2, New Bedford, Mass.
Visiting hours are Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
