WORCESTER___Paul F. Grazulis, Sr., 74, of Worcester died Sunday July 3 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.
He leaves his wife of 51 years. Marilyn I. (Derosier) Grazulis; a son, Paul F. Grazulis, Jr., and his wife Maureen of Oxford; two daughters, Jody Grazulis – Kelly of Norfolk and Gail wife of Joseph Pecora of Worcester; a sister, Barbara wife of Stanley Burdzel of Worcester; four grandchildren, Kerry Grazulis, Kimberly Grazulis, Joseph Pecora and Michael Pecora. He was born in Worcester, son of Adolph and Grace (Cummings) Grazulis and lived here all his life. He was also predeceased by a sister, Carol A. Mallett and his step father, Anthony Kozlowski.
Mr. Grazulis was a Chief Master Sergeant and served with the Massachusetts Air National Guard 43 years before retiring in 1990. Before that he was a Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He once worked for Wyman Gordon Co. He attended Worcester public schools and St. John’s High School.
Mr. Grazulis was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Vernon Hill Post 435 American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Retired State County and Municipal Employees Association. He was a member and past president of the 313th Association.
The funeral will be held on Thursday July 7 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 11 am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday July 7 from 8:30 to 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vernon Hill Post 435 American Legion Scholarship Fund, 267 Providence St., Worcester, MA. 01607
