McDONALD, Francis J. Of Needham, formerly of Newton Highlands, April 18, after a long illness. Beloved husband of Jane E. (Mara) McDonald for 52 years. Devoted father of Frank McDonald Jr. and his wife Joanne of Canton, Michael D. McDonald and his companion Pamela Carpenter of Medfield, Laura J. Hasenfus and her husband Richard of Needham. Grandfather of Caroline, Emma Jane, Teddy, James and Timmy. Brother of Edward J. McDonald of New York, Kenneth D. McDonald of Needham, Jack D. McDonald of Florida and the late Jean Ryan-Waldron. Also survivied by several nieces and nephews. Frank was an avid golfer and former member of Charles River Country Club.
