Obituary

SALEM- K. Eileen (Peters) Robblee, 87, a longtime resident of Salem, died Saturday Morning, May 18, 2002 in the Ledgewood Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, Beverly, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Maxwell L. Robblee.

Born in Manchester-By the Sea, she was the daughter of the late Cutler S. and Catherine (Brennan) Peters.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as the store manager at the former Mahan’s in Salem. She previously worked at Sylvania in Salem, and later at Ried & Hughes for 20 years.

A resident of Salem for most of her life, she was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, the DAV Ladies Auxiliary, both of Salem, and the AARP.

Mrs Robblee is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, J. Robert and Janice Tanzella of Beverly, 4 grandchildren, Joseph and his wife Doreen Tanzella of Amesbury, Teri and her husband Brian Tamilio, Stephen Tanzella and Pamela and her husband Paul McCarthy, all of Beverly, 8 great grandchildren, Stacie, Jacqueline and Julie Tanzella, all of Amesbury, Heather, Lindsay, Robert and Brianna Tamilio and Colin McCarthy, all of Beverly and several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving of 10 brothers and sisters.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 10 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a graveside service at 11 am in Greenlawn Cemetery, Orne St., Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Ledgewood Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, 87 Herrick St., Beverly, MA 01915.
