WORCESTER___John A. Sabuk, 89, of 21 Dillon St., died Friday July 1 in the VNA Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Rd.
He leaves his wife of 51 years, Albina (Mileris) Sabuk; a son, Stanley J. Sabuk of Bradenton, Fl, two daughters, Jane T. Collins of Nashua, N.H. and Helen M. Flaherty of Rochdale; a brother, Julian Sabuk of Worcester; and four grandchildren. He was born and raised in Poland, son of Matthew and Nell (Ambrozuk) Sabuk and has lived here since 1950.
Mr. Sabuk was a custodian for the Bancroft School and worked there 20 years before retiring in 1980. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday July 5 with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Care Network, Inc. Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, 01608. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 34 Ward St.
