Myrtle V. (Fray) Bishop, 82, of 150 Apricot St., died Monday,
June 27 at UMASS Memorial-119 Belmont St., Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Kenneth S. Bishop, two daughters Susan
M. and her husband Stephen F. Sulkoski of Worcester and Joan L and her
husband Perry F. Dube of Leicester, 10 grand and 2 great granddaughters,
nieces and nephews. A step son Roger S. Bishop, died in 1999.
Mrs. Bishop was a secretary at State Mutual Assurance Co. in Worcester
before retiring in 1978. Previously she worked for many years at Thompson
Steel & Wire in Worcester.
She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester, Class of 1940. She was
a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Joel Prouty Lodge, Auburn, 50
year member and the Bethany Christian United Parish.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 30 at 10:00 AM in
MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will be in
All Faith Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be from 6:00-8:00 PM,
Wednesday, June 29 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial
donations may be made to: Shriner's Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St.,
Springfield, MA., 01104.
