John M. McCord Jr., 73, passed away March 23, 2016.
He was a catholic by faith a retired Iron Worker for Local # 70 and a horse trainer at Churchill Downs and Turfway Park.
John was preceded in death by his wife Brenda I. (Barnes) McCord, sister Lois McCord.
He is survived by his children Karen W. Hedgecock (Charles), Mark E. Quinton (Tena), Tracy A. Hall and Danny Quinton; eight grandchildren; sister Cheryl Ryan.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. and Wednesday after 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
