Lorna McGourty (61) of Brockton died March 25th in the Sachem Nursing Home, East Bridgewater. She was the wife of the late Patrick McGourty.
She was born in Ormok, Phillipines daughter of the late Conchita Labor and Cenon Labor of the Phillipines. Lorna was a Certified Nurses Aid having worked at the Southwood Medical Center in Norwell. She has been a Brockton resident since 1989 coming from Scotland. She enjoyed gardening and was a determined hard working wife and mother.
In addition to her father she is survived by her 3 Sons, Francis C. McGourty of Raynham and John P.and Mathew J. McGourty both of Brockton, a Daughter Conchita McGourty of Brockton and 3 grandchildren Sam, Emily and Junior.
Graveside services will be held in Melrose Cemetery Tuesday march 29th at 11AM.
