Rodney L. Richardson age 69 of Salem, NH, died Wednesday at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA. He was born in Concord, NH, where he grew up and attended schools. He was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 43 years, formerly of Laconia, NH.
Mr. Richardson was a retired Estimate Assignor for Verizon in Dracut, MA, where he worked for the company for over 39 years. He was a US Army Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion, The DAV and the VFW Post 8546 all of Salem, NH. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid gardener.
Mr. Richardson was an organ transplant recipient many times, and was an avid supporter of organ donation, and supported several causes to pass on the importance of organ donation.

9 Grandchildren: Lindsay, Cassie, Jennifer, David, Christopher, Justin, Evan, Christian, & Ryan
2 Great Grandchildren: Matthew & Isabella, Several Nieces & Nephews
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 10 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Friday, July 1, 2005 from 5-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
