Laura Paradis, 27, of Franklin, MA and Manchester, CT, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 17, 2016.
She is survived by her parents, Rene “Red” and Donna Paradis of Franklin, her brother, Joe Paradis of Cumberland, RI, and her grandmothers, Lorraine Prest of Fort Myers, FL and Martine Paradis of North Attleboro, MA.
She graduated from Franklin High School in 2006 and went on to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, graduating cum laude in 2011. After co-ops at Hasbro, Draper Labs, and Senior Aerospace, she worked as a design engineer at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT.
Laura was a vibrant, smiling, encouraging spirit that we will miss. She enjoyed rock climbing, swing dancing, riding her motorcycle, gardening (She could grow practically anything from a leaf!), traveling, hiking, baking, but most of all, her friends and family.

They are a charitable, non-profit organization who provides empowering outdoor adventures to cancer fighters/survivors. Laura had an amazing time on a white water kayaking trip with them last summer.
There will be a celebration of Laura’s life on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 9 Cook St., Franklin, MA 02038 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.
