Obituary

Worcester- John Julian Limoges, 92, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, June 27, in the Lutheran Home of Worcester where he had been a resident for 5 years.
John leaves his wife, Barbara (Poland) Limoges of Worcester, whom he was married to for 65 years, and many nieces and nephews. A sister, Theresa Rich, predeceased him.
John was born in Burlington, VT, son of Henri and Minnie (Davenport) Limoges, and had lived in Worcester for many years before moving to North Windham, ME, and later to Inverness, FL. He returned to Worcester in 1997.
John retired from the Worcester Vocational School where he taught Printing for many years. He was a well-known musician performing in many area bands, The Aletheia Grotto Band among them. He was a life member of the Worcester Musicians Association Local 143. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Mathew John Whittall Lodge A.F. & A.M. and the Retired Men’s Club of Greendale.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of All Saints Episcopal Church, 10 Irving St. on Wednesday, July 6, at 11 a.m. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Activity Fund, Lutheran Home of Worcester, 26 Harvard St., Worcester, MA 01609. DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., is assisting with arrangements.
