Georgette R. Parent (Shank), 92, passed away peacefully with family close by, on March 19, 2016, after a long illness. She was a resident of Hanover Hill Nursing Care Facility in Manchester, NH. Born and educated in Lawrence, MA., she spent most of her life in Methuen, MA and Freedom, NH. She was a homemaker for most of her years, and enjoyed being with her family, playing bingo, cards, and the occasional trip to the casino. She was a member of the St. Rita Sodality, Corpus Christi Parish, Lawrence.
Georgette was pre-deceased by her husband of 63 years, Wilfred in 2007, three brothers and a sister. She is survived by her son, Brian Parent, of Goffstown, NH, Barbara Parent Molinari of Manchester NH, her grandson Benjamin Parent of Manchester NH, and granddaughter Stacey Parent of Northwood, NH, two great grandchildren, Cameron and Zachary Milligan, both of Northwood, NH. She is also survived by a brother Kenneth Shank, of Georgia, and two step sisters, Sandra Sanders of Newmarket, NH and Bernice Gallagher of Methuen, MA, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
