Lucindo Pires (61) of New Bedford and Cape Verde died March 20th in the Good Samaritan Medical center.
He was born Sao Felipe, Fogo, Cabo Verde son of the late Jose Pires and Celeste Souza. He has been in this country 3 months coming from Fogo. Lucindo was a grocery store owner in Cape Verde. He enjoyed going out and socializing with friends and family.
He is survived by many children including Ceila Veiga and Antonio Pires both of Brockton, also Keila Pires of New Bedford, many brothers and sisters including Mario Pires of Brockton,
Funeral Services and Burial will be held in Sao Felipe, Fogo, Cape Verde Saturday April 2nd. Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel Sunday March 27th from 5-8PM prior to travel.
