Wendy K. (Oslund) Morrow, 56, of Manchester, NH, formerly of Derry, NH died at her residence, Friday, March 11, 2016. She was born in Duluth, MN, and was the daughter of Richard Oslund and the late Roberta (Truax) Oslund. Wendy was raised and educated in North Muskegon, MI. She was a graduate of Kalamazoo College and received a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 1985. She had been a resident of Derry for 20 years, prior to relocating to Manchester four years ago.
Mrs. Morrow was employed as a counselor for many years with the Center for Life Management in Derry and was most recently employed with the Counseling Center of Nashua. Wendy loved hiking and was a member of the Appalachian Mountain club. She also enjoyed reading and Contra dancing and was an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Manchester.
Members of the family include her son, Geoffrey Morrow, her daughter and her husband, Sarah and Brett Grotenhuis and her granddaughter, Eva Grotenhuis, two brothers, Jeff Oslund and his wife Raelene and Brett Oslund. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold Morrow in August of 2008.
After cremation, a memorial visitation was held, Friday March 18, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street in Derry.
