Kathleen Monica Phinney passed away on March 11,2016 at Hancock Park Rehabilitation Center at the age of 73. A resident of Milton for the past 7 years, Kathleen resided at Winter Valley and enjoyed her 7 years there. Previously she lived in Roslindale, MA for most of her years. She was a Graduate of Boston College having received a Master’s Degree in Theology. The daughter of Vincent and Mary E (Lyons) Phinney ,she is survived by her sister Marie Oser of Roslindale and many caring nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her brothers, Paul of Hyde Park MA, John (Jack) of Lakeland, FL, Thomas of Milton, MA and her sister, Louise Shanahan of Vero Beach, FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Holy Name Church, 1689 Center St. in West Roxbury on March 28th, 2016 at 10:00 am followed by her burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at 990 LaGrange Street in West Roxbury, MA.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Kathleen’s name to either Holy Name Church or St. Elizabeth Parish 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton, MA.
