Virginia Morgans, 83, of Olyphant, died Tuesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center from complications of COPD. She was married to William Morgans for 55 years.
Born in Scranton on April 12, 1932, daughter of the late William and Ruth Oister Phillips, Virginia attended Scranton public schools. Before retirement, she was employed by Dr. William Morris, D.D.S. She was a kind loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed.
Surviving are sons, Bill Morgans, Olyphant; and Bob Cetta and wife, Phyllis, Scranton; sister-in-law, Lois Phillips; and five grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Phillips.
Private funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant.
