Myrtle E. (Sisson) Spagnoli, 88, of Mattapoisett died May 17, 2002 at home after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Alfred R. Spagnoli, and daughter of the late Rexford L. and Maude (Atwood) Sisson.
Mrs. Spagnoli was born in New Bedford and had lived in Mattapoisett for most of her life.
Mrs. Spagnoli and her daughter were the proprietors of Barbara's Styling Salon in Mattapoisett. She also was a bus matron for the Old Rochester Regional School District and a beach matron at Mattapoisett Town Beach.
She was a member of the Mattapoisett Grange #215.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Spagnoli of Mattapoisett; a brother, Elsworth Kershaw of Freetown; a sister, Mildred L. Savard of Middleboro; a granddaughter, Cristin Spagnoli of Mattapoisett; and 2 great-granddaughters, Breanne K. Bachand and Ashley E.L. Bachand, both of Mattapoisett.
She was the sister of the late Rexford L. Sisson, Jr., Elmer D. Sisson, Alice Thomas and Edward D. Kinney, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., (Route 6) Mattapoisett, Sunday, May 19th at 8 PM.
Visiting hours Sunday, May 19th from 4-8 PM.
Burial in Cushing Cemetery will be private.
