Patrick William Pirolli, 31, born in Providence, died Sunday February 28, 2016 at home in Richmond, California.
He leaves behind his loving parents Joanne and William Pirolli and his adored brother Kyle Pirolli. He also leaves behind his grandparents Elena Pirolli, Dolores McSweeney and Joseph McSweeney. He now joins his beloved Papa Pirolli and Auntie Jeanne in heaven.
Patrick grew up in Edgewood and was a longtime member of The Edgewood South Elmwood Little League organization, having been a member of the Big League Championship team that competed in Williamsburg PA. He was a graduate of Hendricken High school in 2003 and UMass Amherst in 2007.
Striking out on his own, he relocated to California in 2007. He touched the hearts of everyone he met making many friends along the way. He lived with his beloved girlfriend Allison Hill and their cats Isis and Athena. During the last five years he was a bartender at the exclusive Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco.
Patrick was a kind, respectful, caring old soul and a faithful friend. He was a sports fanatic, voracious reader and avid golfer. He loved food, enjoyed cooking and created many of the craft cocktails that appear on the Fairmont’s specialty cocktail menu. Despite moving to the west coast, he remained a diehard New England sports fan, especially the Red Sox and the Patriots, always wearing his team colors, even at those Oakland home games!
