Obituary

Barre – Roland R. “Yo-Yo” Mink Jr., 54, of Barre formerly of Worcester, died unexpectedly in his home on February 23rd.

Roland is survived by a son, Zachary E. Mink; a daughter, Victoria J. Mink both of Worcester; a brother, Jason LeBlanc of Worcester; 4 sisters, Ann Mink of Worcester, Patricia Mink Prizio and her husband Tim of Worcester, Donna Gonzalez and her husband Udo of Barre and Marlena Mink of Texas; a sister in law, Maryann Mink of Caribou, Maine and many nephews and nieces.

Mr. Mink was born in Biddeford, ME son of the late Roland R. Mink Sr. and Maryjane (Lemirand) Mink and is also predeceased by a brother Michael. He served and received an honorable discharge from the United States Army.

Roland worked for years at the former George’s Florist in Worcester and previously worked at WAAF Radio Station where he regularly drove the “Rock Bus”. Yo-Yo was always the happiest when he was spending time with his family and friends.

A burial service will be held on Friday, March 11th at 1pm in the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street Winchendon. A reception will follow from 2 to 4 pm in the American Legion located at 450 South Barre Rd. Barre, MA.
