Laconia-----Sandra Jean Morley, 60, passed away at Lakes Region General Hospital on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.
Sandra was born in Laconia on March 30, 1955, the daughter of Carroll and Madeline Marden. Sandra was raised in and spent most of her life in Laconia, and for a period of time in New Hampton NH. At the time of Sandra's death she was employed for 11 years at Belknap County Nursing Home as a Dietary Aide. She was previously employed by Risdon AMS and Allen Rogers.
Sandra was a very loving and caring person and loved her kids very much. She was also looking forward to the arrival of her grandchild in September.
Sandra is survived by her sons, Carl L Sweezy Jr. and his husband Rick Sweezy of Wintergarden, Florida, Scott Shorey of Laconia, a daughter, Stephanie Knighton and her husband, Everett of Bristol , and her step daughter Kimberly Leitner and her husband John of West Dundee Illinois, her father, Carroll Marden of Belmont, her brothers Raymond Marden of Laconia, Roger Marden of Sanbornton,Frank Marden of Laconia, Robert Marden and his wife Goldie of Laconia ,and Michael Marden and his wife Kathi of Laconia. Other members of the family include her half brother James Marden of Belmont and her half sister Barbara Binette and her husband Richard of Belmont. There are several aunts, uncles,nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Sandra was predeceased by her 1st husband Carl L Sweezy Sr., and her second husband Len J Shorey. She was also predeceased by her mother Madeline (Camire) Marden, a brother Richard Marden, a niece Jasmine Marden, and a grandson Joseph Laraway.
Memorial Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 12:00 noon - 2:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2:00pm also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, NH .
