Obituary

Jerome William “Jerry” Mosier, 84, went home to his Lord Saturday February 28, 2016, surrounded by his family and their love..

He was born in Louisville to William T. Mosier and Helen (Pate) Newkirk.

Jerry was a retired Engineer with Tube Turns, American Standard, Raque Co and ICI Americas. He was a teacher at JCPS Adult Education for many years,
and delivered papers for the Courier-Journal for more than thirty years, and was honored by the Bingham family with a gold watch. He was a member of St. Stephens UCC and a former member of St. James UCC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother: Lorena (Boesser) Mosier and son-in-law: Kenny Vincent.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 ½ years, Emma Jean (Raeber) Mosier; his children: Keith Mosier (Bobbi), Terri Stiles (Bob), Darlene Mudd (Jerry), Darrell Mosier (Karen),
Dwayne Mosier (Cindy), and Anne Mosier Goble; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Bill Mosier (Penny) and Rudy Mosier (Jo Ann); 1 sister: Lorena Stierle;
an uncle: Bill Pate (Bertha), and many wonderful nieces & nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Friday at St. Stephens United Church of Christ, 1875 Farnsley Rd., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Visitation will be Thursday 2:00 – 8:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. and after 11:00 AM Friday at church.
